McKenna J. Hardy
Performing Arts Stage Manager
Sound Editor
McKenna J. Hardy, a CalStateLA graduate with a passion for filmmaking. My journey began as a stage manager in the performing arts, where I discovered my love for storytelling. After years in theater, I pursued filmmaking, earning two Associate Degrees in art before attending film school in Los Angeles.

At film school, I combined my stage management skills with filmmaking, learning every aspect of the process and exploring sound design. I graduated Cum Laude and interned for six months, where I enhanced my editing skills and gained experience in social media, film festivals, and sound editing. I co-directed the Golden Eagle Film Festival, expanding it from a 1-day to a 3-day event and significantly increasing attendance and success. This role honed my skills in coordination, social media, and event management

In the year post-graduation, I continued my experience in performing arts as a stage manager, sound designer, and light/sound operation. I'm eager to bring my skills to Humboldt County, CA. My goal is to create educational, family-friendly, emotionally engaging, and visually stunning films. I'm committed to collaboration, communication, and attention to detail in every project. I'm excited to pursue my filmmaking passion in Humboldt County.
